How to enter

Complete an IGA online customer survey or participate in Bastion Insights' Metcash IGA online community during the period 1st May 2023 to 30th April 2025.

Conditions of Entry

Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions. Entry into these competitions are deemed to be an acceptance of these conditions.

  1. Entry is open to Australian residents who are aged 16 years and over that have access to the internet. Employees of the Promoter and agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  2. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purposes of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By consenting to receive future promotional or marketing materials after completing the IGA online customer surveys or participating in Bastion Latitude’s Metcash IGA online community, entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on (03) 9643 6595 during office hours.
  3. Entries are deemed received at the time of receipt by the Promoter in its promotional database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant.
  4. The total annual prize pool (for all competitions) is not more than $50,000. Prize pool available to ACT residents will be less than $3,000 for the 12-month period. A separate prize draw will be held for each competition. The draws will take place at 4:00pm (AEDT) on the last day of each month at Bastion Latitude 14-18 Cremorne Street, Cremorne VIC 3121. The winners will be notified by phone and email.
  5. Prizes may be provided as IGA Gift Cards, eGiftCards or other giftcard [value not greater than $250 per prize]. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. Any costs associated with accessing the online community websites are the entrant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
  7. Immediately after the prize draw a second draw will be conducted where a 'reserve winner' will be selected. In the event a prizewinner cannot be located within 3 months of the original draw date the winner's entry will be deemed invalid and the 'reserve winner' will win the prize. The winner will be notified by phone and email.
  8. The prizewinner is advised that tax implications may arise from their prize winnings and they should seek independent financial advice prior to the acceptance of the prize.
  9. The Promoter may require a prizewinner to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of residency at the nominated delivery address. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Promoter's discretion.
  10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any incorrect, ineligible, invalid, late, lost or misdirected entries or for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestions on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including but not limited to, any injury or damage to participants or any other persons computer related to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in this competition.
  11. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
  12. The Promoter may change individual competition dates at will without notification of competition entrants.
  13. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.
    To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury which is suffered or sustained, as a result of taking a prize.
